Hartlepool have announced a loss of £1.6million in the year to 2007, with spending on wages of £2.1million. The club's owners have now pumped £9million into the club to keep it afloat. Oldham have revealed that striker Lee Hughes has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave for £400,000. He is believed to be wanted by Doncaster.

Weymouth have sacked boss John Hollins, who has been on 'gardening leave' for the last two weeks. Chairman Malcolm Curtis says Hollins rarely turned up for training, and approached Woking over their manager's job. The pair are giving different stories at present, with Batchelor saying the basics of a deal has been reached though Vaughan says Batchelor hasn't a penny to his name.
