New Huddersfield boss Lee Clark wants a winning start to his first managerial job.
The former Newcastle player has praised the squad he has inherited: "Gerry Murphy and Graham Mitchell have built up some momentum, and I obviously want to keep that going. I've inherited a talented and confident squad of players, and I've been more than happy at the way they've gone about things this week." he told the Daily Examiner.
A trio of injured players - veteran Andy Booth, Joe Skarz, and Danny Broadbent - will be missing but Keigan Parker returns after a three match ban, with the former Blackpool striker scoring twice in a midweek reserve match against Grimsby, though Clark expects a tough time from the Bulls:
"It won't be easy – I was quite impressed with Hereford and they have an experienced striker in Steve Guinan – but we need to make our own ground a difficult place for teams to come."
Meanwhile Terry McDermott, the former Liverpool striker will, take charge alongside Clark at the Galpharm Stadium tomorrow.
