Rotherham have been handed a 17 point penalty - but the jury remains out on Bournemouth.
The Millers have until noon on Friday to accept a 17 point penalty along with the conditions already laid down by the Football League. They will have to pay back grants from the Football Foundation, and lodge a £750,000 bond with the FL to return to Rotherham within four years. The club must also agree not to challenge the ruling in the courts.
Bournemouth, however, have been 'asked to reflect further on its position' according to the FL statement, which doubts the viability of the proposals laid out by the new owners. The FL will meet again tomorrow to consider the matter again.
