As suggested in an earlier Bulls News article, Jo Kuffor is reported to be set to join Bristol Rovers later this week and could be in the line-up to face Hereford United on Saturday.
Rovers are said to have agreed a £60,000 for the Bournemouth striker who has asked for a move away from Dean Court. Last season Kaffor scored 13 goals for the Cherries.
"Jo has told me that he definitely wants to consider getting somewhere else if he can and, as I've stated on many occasions, I would never want to keep a player against their wishes," said Kevin Bond, the Bournemouth manager.
"Having said that though, it would need to be right for us as well so we would have to think about how much somebody might offer for him and also about replacing him."
Meanwhile Walsall supporters are questioning why their League One gate was so low last Saturday and what to do about it. Only the attendance at Edgar Street was lower. There were five higher gates in League Two.
Whilst the credit crunch is the probable main reason, the loss of their previous manager Richard Money (Dickie Dosh) is cited as another reason.
