HUISA, the Hereford United Independent Supporters Association, held its Annual General Meeting this lunchtime at Legends. The original venue was not available.
Keith Dodd took the chair and about fifteen members were present.
Some points from the meeting:
Treasurer Nicky White presented the accounts which showed that HUISA has a healthy bank balance of just under £5,000. The balance was somewhat larger than expected because of refunds from last season's Player of the Year event which was curtailed.
In addition HUISA own 2,276 shares in Hereford United.
The decision to raise the membership charge to £15 was explained. The club had told HUISA that to be able to allow members to have a chance of tickets for big games they would have to charge £15, similar to the Junior Bulls. The idea being to keep every supporters group on the same footing. In return the club agreed that HUISA members could have 10% off club shop purchases.
To help members with the £15 membership it has been decided that any member travelling on a HUISA coach could claim a £1 discount.
Members were asked to help recruit new members.

Numbers had dropped slightly partly because of the re-launch of the Junior Bulls.
More recruits were needed to sell 50/50 tickets at home games. The profit from these tickets was a valuable source of income to HUISA which can then be used to help the club with a particular project.
The chairman revealed that no date had yet been set for a fans forum which usually takes place in late August.
