AR Hall from the West Midlands is expected to referee next Saturday's game at Bristol Rovers when Hereford United are the visitors.
Hall was in charge of the FA Cup game against Hartlepool at Edgar Street last season which the Bulls won 2-0.
He booked Dean Beckwith and Toumani Diagouraga during the tie.
On Boxing Day last year he officiated when Bristol Rovers were at home to Luton. He sent three players off in that game.
