Hereford United manager Graham Turner has expressed his delight at taking three points from fellow promotion contenders Darlington this afternoon.
"It was a much-needed result. We played well and showed a bit of character," said Turner in his post match press conference.
"We've got 14 away wins this season now — that's a terrific record — and another clean sheet is vital for us. We've got the win and it's a good start with Milton Keynes next."
Meanwhile coach John Trewick echoed Turner's views.
"I know that after today's win Graham [Turner] won't be happy with five points now. I'm an eternal optimist and I don't see why we can't get two more wins. We'll go to MK Dons looking for the win and we'll look for a win against Peterborough. I think we'd be disappointed with anything less than seven points," Trewick told the Official Website.
