League 2 comes to the boil

There are a number of fixtures over the next few days, which may have a major influence over The Bulls final placing in this year's promotion race.

Tonight, MK Dongs travel to meet 11th placed Grimsby while tomorrow sees Peterborough visit form side Dagenham & Redbridge while Darlo travel to sixth placed Wycombe. Defeats for the top three and a win for Hereford would tighten the top four to just two points if you discount Posh's extra game played. Then, on Monday, The Franchise have to go to Chesterfield who are showing signs of getting back on track after a dodgy patch.

By Tuesday evening when Hereford visit an indifferent Mansfield things could be a lot clearer.

Meanwhile, Morecambe have today refused permission for Shrewsbury to talk to their manager Sammy McIlroy about the vacant position at Stade New Gay.
