Graham Turner has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he hasn't had any success, so far, in bringing new faces to Edgar Street during the current transfer window.
"We've had an offer for a player turned down by the club. We've had an offer for a player accepted by the club but the player has turned it down," said the Hereford United manager.
"We've had a number of players who we've agreed with the clubs they can come out on loan to us but the players still think Manchester United or Arsenal are coming for them before the window closes.
"So they don't want to commit themselves early in the month."
Meanwhile Turner confirmed earlier reports that Hereford had managed to extend the loan of Robbie Threlfall, the young Liverpool defender, until the end of the season
