Graham Turner has said that he is to talk to two players today who may, if terms can be agreed, join the Bulls in time for Sunday's game against Shrewsbury Town.
As is usual no names have been released by Hereford United but it is thought that one of the players may be a right-winger. Since Lionel Ainsworth left Edgar Street for Watford, there has been need for a replacement in that position.
Turner has revealed, in an Official Website interview this morning, that one player, Alex Russell, he had offered a deal has decided to go to Cheltenham. That deal is for one month according to the Robins who have also signed Steve Brooker. Both players are from Bristol City.
Meanwhile the weather over Herefordshire this morning is wet and with the forecast currently suggesting a wet and windy spell on late Saturday/Sunday morning it will be interesting to see how the newly laid pitch at Edgar Street copes with both the League game against Shrewsbury on Sunday and the Cup replay against Tranmere on Wednesday.
Should the pitch cut up badly it may hinder the Bulls passing game which is a feature of their form this season.
However the Bulls overcame Bradford City in very difficult conditions two weeks ago. That game was in doubt because of heavy rain over Yorkshire and there was a particularily wet part of the pitch which was covered with water despite the best efforts of ground staff.
The Bulls won that game 3-1.
