News Round Up

Darlington have signed loanee Ian Miller on a permanent deal from Ipswich after two successful loan spells. Notts County have signed Ali Gibb from Hartlepool. The right sided player joins on loan for a month.

Barnet have signed Josh Wright on loan until the end of the season. The Charlton midfielder played 15 times for the Bees in a three month spell earlier in the season. Accrington have signed defender Mark King from Blackburn on a free transfer. The 19 year old signs until the end of the season, and is yet to make a first team appearance.

Wrexham have loaned youngsters Gareth Evans and Jamie Reed to Tamworth, both on a months loan. Evans has made four appearances for the Dragons' first team, while Reed is yet to appear. The club have signed striker Paul Hall from Walsall on a free transfer, and signed veteran midfielder Danny Sonner on a month to month contract.

Brentford have cancelled the contract of central defender John Mackie by mutual consent. The former Leyton Orient man has not played since Andy Scott took charge. Former Bulls triallist Chris Zebroski has rejected a 'substantial' offer from Cambridge United to remain on-loan at Torquay. His agent has confirmed that he will sign for a Football League club in the summer after scoring 12 times in 26 appearances in the first half of the season.

Luton's management team will quit the club in a months time. Manager Kevin Blackwell and coaches Sam Ellis and John Carver will leave the club on 9th February. The departures are believed to be related the the enforced sales of players, with the trio understood to be excercising their rights to hand in notice after failing to be paid by the club.

Cheltenham have opted not to sign Crawley striker Guy Madjo permanently after his loan spell. Crawley have confirmed that another club are interested in a permanent deal after Madjo started just two games in seven weeks at Whaddon Road.
