Tranmere caused us lots of problems - Beckwith

Hereford United's Man of the Match, Dean Beckwith, admitted that Tranmere had caused the Bulls problems especially one of their frontmen.

"Calvin Zola - He's big and strong, he's tricky with the ball. With the ball running at you he's a handfull," Beckwith told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"But in the end it's a team effort. Everyone dug in from the forwards to us at the back.

"In the end we nicked one with about fifteen or twenty to go and hung on."

Former Bull's manager Colin Addison commented:

"I enjoyed it immensely. I thought it was an absolutely cracking cup-tie. Both sides very very positive. A lot of good football played, a lot of chances created.

"It was always going to be tight and that's the way it turned out.

"Excellent goal from Hereford. Excellent strike won the game."

And from Hereford United coach John Trewick:

"I thought it was an exciting game of football. End to end stuff. Both teams trying to play football, a big cup-tie.

"Fortunately we scored a fanastic goal to win it. A goal worthy of winning any game I think."
