Peterboro have completed the signing of Norwich goalkeeper Joe Lewis for £400,000 on a four and a half year deal. The 20 year old spent the first half of the season on loan at Morecambe. This deal takes Peterboro's transfer spending past the £3million mark in the year since Daragh McAnthony took over. One played expected to leave London Road is midfielder Gavin Strachan, who is poised to join Oxford as player-coach or Notts County.

A Luton Town supporters club statement says that two bidders have made offers for the club prior to the deadline. The supporters club are backing a consortium of fans and businessmen, with the other bidder claimed to be the landowner for their proposed new stadium. Darlington have signed Notts County defender Paul Mayo on a months loan. The 26 year old has been out of favour at Meadow Lane since the new management arrived. Morecambe have laughed at Bradford's offer of £10,000 for winger Garry Thompson, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Wrexham are set to sign goalkeeper Gavin Ward from Chester on an 18 month contract. Ward is currently a coach at the Deva Stadium, but has only managed two appearances since joining in the summer. They have also signed Northampton winger Sam Aiston. The former Shrew had been on loan at the Racecourse. Macclesfield have named Nicky Reid as their new physio. The former Man City midfielder held a similar post at Bury, and replaces Bolton-bound Paul Lake.
