12 men from Shrewsbury have been arrested this morning in dawn raids by West Mercia and British Transport Police.
The 12 were arrested as more than 50 officers raided 13 address in and around Shrewsbury following trouble between Walsall and Shrewsbury followers on November 10th. One man is still being sought over the violence that saw 40 people clash at a railway station.
Ch Insp Martin Whitelegg of West Mercia constabulary told the BBC: "We will not hesitate to take action against the small minority of people who cause problems at football matches. Anti-social and violent behaviour will not be tolerated.
"I would stress that those people who resort to hooliganism by associating themselves to the football club are not fans."
