In their build up to tomorrow's FA Cup match, BBC Hereford and Worcester have been talking to two followers of the game.
Hereford United supporter Chris Powis, often known as ExLandlord and introduced as a writer for Bulls News, and Ray Stubbs, BBC presenter and former Tranmere player, were interviewed by Howard Bentham earlier this morning.
Powis was asked how many Hereford supporters might make the trip to Prenton Park tomorrow.
"As a general rule of thumb we reckon that about a third of those who travel go on coaches. I think there are twelve of them so that's around 600 people so if the ratio works it will be about 1,800. But I think about 1,500.
"It's building but it's been slower this time. I think we took something approaching 2,000 when we went to Birmingham in the Carling Cup."
Asked how the day might pan out for supporters Powis thought there tended to be two different bands of fans.
"The HUISA coaches tend to go pretty much direct to the game apart from a comfort stop on the way. Other supporters will make their own plans to travel. Some will stop, others will go straight to Tranmere and disappear into the town and try and find a suitable pub to have a drink in."
Assuming Hereford win either tomorrow or at a replay, Powis was asked who they would want next.
"Any one of the big clubs. From the football club's point of view they would probably like to go to Old Trafford and take the money.
"Once you get to the Fourth Round you've probably had your day as a League Two club. It's a question of making as much money as you can."
Stubbs will miss the game as he is covering Darts. And he wouldn't make a prediction about the result.
"If you look at Hereford's performance so far this season, I don't think you can say it will go one way or the other.
"Tranmere have a terrific Cup pedigree and Cup history, so do Hereford - John Motson never stops reminding me about that famous (Newcastle) day still, still, still....
"I would imagine Hereford fans would like something to supercede that now, as great as that was, it would be terrific for the club to have another chapter in their club history which rivaled that.
"Both sides are doing well. On the day who has the determination to do the best will perhaps get the result."
