Crewe have reportedly upped their offer for ex-Hereford United striker Stuart Fleetwood to £200,000.
"We have spoken to Forest Green about Fleetwood. They were in contact yesterday and we have discussed making a slight adjustment to the deal," said a Crewe spokesman.
"We are expecting them to let us know, but I have learned not to take anything for granted."
