The Bulls returned to second place in the table with a 3-1 win over local rivals Shrewsbury Town.
A deflected goal from debutant Keith Briggs opened the scoring, but the Bulls' equaliser through a Trevor Benjamin penalty before half time. Dean Beckwith, who kept Guy Madjo quiet for most of the game, was credited with the second - a header from a corner - but it looked like a defender got the final touch, and Simon Johnson drilled home from 20 yards to put the game beyond the visitors.
The gate was a healthy 4,707 with 982 visitors. Most were thoroughly entertained by a well contested match that was often hampered by the wind and rain.
