Tranmere Rovers have confirmed that 1643 Hereford United supporters watched the FA Cup game at Prenton Park last Saturday.
In other news this morning Mark Haywood has been appointed to referee next Sunday's game against Shrewsbury Town at Edgar Street.
Haywood has already officiated in a Hereford game this season. He yellow-carded Karl Broadhurst in the Bulls 3-0 win at Morecambe last September.
In charge of 21 games to date, Haywood has given out just 48 yellow and 2 red cards.
