It may not be as pronounced as Liverpool but the idea of squad rotation has arrived at Edgar Street.
The Hereford United manager has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he decided to leave striker Trevor Benjamin out of the starting eleven last Tuesday for the Notts County game partly because of competition for places. His other experienced striker Steve Guinan scored twice at the Meadow Lane to help win the game.
"No player likes to be left out. No player likes to be sitting on the bench, they want to be in the side.
"But there is enough spirit in there that there is an exceptance that a bit of competition - squad rotation but not quite up to premiership standards - so I've got options there."
Turner may consider resting Lionel Ainsworth for tomorrow's game against Brentford and could start Trevor Benjamin in place of Theo Robinson. Should he rest Ainsworth, Luke Webb may get a start.
