Halifax Town have been given another 28 days to finalise their takeover and pay off debts, but it is likely to be their last chance.
A court hearing on Wednesday at the Royal Courts of Justice in London agreed, eventually, to a second adjournment with the solicitor acting for the incoming consortium telling the press: "I do not believe we will get another adjournment. The judge asked questions and ultimately gave another 28 days but the revenue will push next time for winding-up."
The consortium is trying to reach agreement on the purchase of 75% of the shares of the club before completing the deal and paying off the debts.
