McCall Happy With First Month

Speaking prior to Saturday's matches, Bradford boss Stuart McCall told the local press that he was happy with their work so far:

"The dressing room is beginning to bond and you can see the togetherness and spirit is building. That takes time but it is coming together. You want to have the best players out there but being successful as a team is more than that. There are a lot of ingredients involved.

"We want people who enjoy coming into training and enjoy being part of the group. That's the environment we're looking to build and I'm fairly happy with the way it's going so far. It's a gradual process but step by step hopefully we are going the right way."

After Saturday's win over Peterboro, he praised the defence that earned their first clean sheet of the season: "I thought we defended excellently but creatively we can do much better. For all the possession Peterborough had they didn't trouble Donovan Ricketts except for that effort near the end that took a deflection. Peterborough have got good players in all positions so it's a terrific win."
