Vincent Eyes Six Points

Swindon defender Jamie Vincent is eyeing up a six point weekend, starting with a win at Edgar Street on Saturday.

The 30 year old told BBC Sport that they expect to fight for the points and stretch their lead over MK Dons for the last automatic promotion spot: "We are two points ahead now on level games so it can go either way at the moment with us and MK Dons. But if we do well over the Easter period and maybe collect six points then who knows what can happen."

But attractive football will be secondary to the points: "I think the football has gone a bit on the back-burner, because of the state of the pitches and the weather conditions, especially with the wind, but as long as we are prepared to fight that's the most important thing.

"I think we have been top four all season but I think we got a little bit complacent maybe a month or two ago. We weren't battling as much as the other teams were, but I think we have started to get more of an edge to our game."
