Gravesend and Northfleet announced yesterday that they had received a grant, estimated at £35,000, from the Football Stadia Improvement Fund to help fund safety work on the Northfleet End of their Stonebridge Road stadium. The Northfleet End, a home terrace, was closed in mid-February due to severe safety concerns and it's reopening will increase capacity by 800.
