Bug at Scarborough

Several Scarborough players are reported to be feeling the effects of a stomach bug that appears to be doing the rounds of the McCain Stadium.

Last night the Seadogs could only draw against lowly Leigh RMI in a Conference fixture but illness was thought to be part of the reason for dropping points.

The Official Scarborough Website reported that defender Mark Hotte will miss Saturday's home clash with fellow high-flyers Hereford United after picking up his fifth booking of the season last night.

Hotte, who had been out of action for a month because of a knee injury, came on as a 53rd minute sub against Leigh but within 20 minutes he was shown the yellow card that keeps him out for the weekend.
