Our feeder club

The usually excellent Ciderspace has reported the Gavin Williams transfer as follows:

We're delighted for Gav, but we're gutted for ourselves. It's official, Gavin Williams has signed for Championship side West Ham United in a transfer worth £250,000 as reported by the Hammers official site, a new club record for a fee received by Yeovil Town. The Glovers are yet to confirm the size of the fee or whether there are any add-ons such as a sell-on percentage or appearance bonuses or the like to be added to the £250,000 apparently agreed up front - a percentage of which will go to our feeder club, Hereford.

It works bothways Ciderspace. Adam Stansfield came to Hereford from Yeovil. And Hereford United could now claim to be Cardiff's feeder club after the transfer of Paul Parry.

There again West Ham could call Yeovil their feeder club!
