Ex Buck Stanley Signs

Former Telford United midfielder has signed a one year deal with Hereford United, reports Clubcall. Graham Turner has seen Craig Stanley play a few times in the past season, including against Shrewsbury Town and Hereford. The 20 year old, who has played for Walsall and Raith Rovers, has signed from Telford who will be playing in the Unibond Division One next season following their relegation from the Conference.

Of Richard O'Kelly's departure Turner said he offered him what he could but O'Kelly felt at 47 he couldn't turn the chance down.

Meanwhile, it's being reported that the Conference League club is returning next season. The competition, which formerly involved 22 clubs and was known as the Bob Lord Trophy, is being restructured. It is thought that it will be a knock out competition involving 66 clubs.

Also, the clubs to participate in the LDV Vans Trophy from the Conference have been decided. These are: York City, Carlisle United, Hereford United, Barnet, Aldershot Town, Exeter City, Morecambe, Stevenage Borough, Woking, Accrington Stanley, Gravesend & Northfleet, and Dagenham & Redbridge
