Purdie in for Rogers
Rob Purdie has been drafted into the English squad for the Four Nations Tournament which starts on May 18th. He joins Hereford United team-mates, Steve Guinan, Matt Baker and Andy Tretton who have already been named.
Rob Purdie has been called into the squad as a replacement for Shrewsbury's Luke Rogers.
However David Brown is still awaiting a call but will have his chance of joining the so-called contingency squad should any more players pull out.
The English squad will play the USA in Charleston in June so the Tournament in Scotland will give the Hereford players the chance to impress Paul Fairclough the English manager.
Meanwhile as previously reported both Tony James and Ryan Green will feature for Wales.
