National North League Buxton have lost two senior players, both are joining Matlock.
Buxton did well to reach the play-offs but were knocked by Chester in the elimators.
Striker Diego DeGirolamo, 29, who spent the latter part of the campaign on loan at Macclesfield, has left the Bucks after a long career with the club that saw him score 120 goals in 230 appearances.
Also leaving is this season’s Player of the Year Tommy Elliott, who scored in his final game for the club at at Chester in the play-offs. He has spent five-and-a-half years with Buxton, making 163 appearances and scoring 35 goals.
Meanwhile Matlock have signed Alfreton Town defender Dwayne Wiley and former Hereford striker Montel Gibson has agreed a new deal with the club.
