Hereford's Yan Klukowski talking to Billy Heath and his assistant before kick-off yesterday.
Alfreton manager Billy Heath has been reflecting on the draw at Hereford yesterday
"Any point you get away from home is a good point.
"I thought it was a real even game. There were not a lot of chances throughout the game for either team.
"It was important to get a clean sheet, it was important to get something for our efforts."
Heath used a couple of new players yesterday and was pleased how they fitted in.
"I've seen a lot of experienced players come here and crumble when they are put under pressure. They are a noisy crowd."
The last time Alfreton played Heath wasn't impressed with the referee but yesterday was better.
"I have a lot to say sometimes about referees, but the referee today was excellent.
"Because he let people play football, because he understood what this league is, he understood that there is physical contact/
"This is the Conference North league, it's not the Premiership. It is what it is.
"I said to the ref when he came off that I thought he was outstanding today and so was the linesman who was here.
"He actually spoke to us, didn't ignore us but let's not dwell on that.
"Today was all about the football, all about two teams who were honest, wanted to play, wanted to compete, wanted to battle and it was a good interesting tactical game at times today."
