In addition to the admittance that they had changed on August 1st the timescale of the Owners and Directors Test results to be notified, the FA have also made a number of significant changes to the test.
The new '2014-2015' version enforces that the FA can suspend a club from it's League, having previously only been a 'request' in the earlier version.
The declaration that those submitting to the test has also had a number of new clauses added covering a number of additional subjects. In addition to the criminal offences already listed the declaration also now lists convictions for:
- "dishonestly receiving a programme broadcast from within the UK with intent to avoid payment..."
- "admitting spectators to watch a football match at unlicenced premises under Section 9 of the Football Spectators Act 1989"
- "ticket touting..."
The declaration also adds a part that anyone subject to a banning order under the Football Spectators Act 2000 would fail the test, as well as FA rules concerning bribery within football and betting on games.
