Hereford United are off to Southport tomorrow and manager Martin Foyle seems hopeful that his side can get something from the game.
"We need a win, we need a lift," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"But it's one of those games you got to go there and you don't lose.
"I'd like to try and get a little run going whether it's a win and a couple of draws. It would breed confidence.
"Southport is one of those places you turn up at and it could be gale-force winds going from one end to the other which is usually 90% of the time when you go there."
Dan Lloyd-Weston is set to be the keeper tomorrow as Rhys Evans remains a doubt.
"He hasn't played a lot of football.
"You get envious of other clubs who have reserve teams and they play games.
"Sometimes that number two goalkeeper doesn't get the practice that makes you better.
"Decision making isn't it.
"You can do all the handling, all the shot-stopping and training and do everything well but you can only get that in games.
"And he probably hasn't had enough games."
As well as Rhys Evans missing the game, Kingsley James remains sidelined. Doubts also remain about the fitness of both Luke Graham and Rob Purdie.

Meanwhile Foyle is hoping that he might be able to extend the loan of Ross Dyer.
