News Round-Up

Torquay say manager Martin Ling is suffering from a 'debilitating illness' and will be absent from the club for several weeks. The 46 year old had missed the last four matches with a virus, and the club will now seek an experienced coach to help assistant boss Shaun Taylor in the running of the side. Dartford have denied post-match claims that Luton fans caused damage to their Princes Park home during last night's game.

Morecambe boss Jim Bentley says he will have to cut his playing budget again next season. Gates at the Globe are, excluding their heavily discounted game against Dagenham, down by over 300 this term and they attracted just 1,226 to last night's game. Telford boss Mark Cooper believes they need to win six of their final 13 games to stay up. They haven't won in 19 games, with Cooper having lost all three of his games in charge.

Portsmouth's court case, due to be heard tomorrow, has been delayed by a further week. The Supporters Trust hope to win the case over the ownership of Fratton Park to complete their takeover of the club, but it has now been pushed back four times. A complication between the PFA and the Administrator is reported to be the reason for the latest delay.
