News Round-Up

Grimsby have announced a profit of £142,000 for last season, but it would have been a loss of £562,000 if they hadn't sold players like the £500,000 sale of defender Ryan Bennett to Peterboro. They also lost over £900,000 the year before. Former Bulls defender Byron Anthony will train with Newport over the coming week in a bid to earn a deal. The Exiles also expect to loan out two of their strikers and bring two more in before Tuesday's match with Cambridge.

Luton say they will not extend the loan of midfielder Andre Boucard to Notts County beyond the current expiry in January. The 28 year old has been a regular for the League One side, making 13 appearances so far. Former Bull Tamika Mkandawire is on the verge of a loan move to Southend after failing to regain his place in the Millwall side. The 29 year old has missed nearly a year after undergoing knee surgery.

Darlington have unveiled a six year plan to return to the Football League by securing four promotions. The Northern Premier League Division 1 side intends to be in Conf North inside three years and winning promotion from the Conference three years after that. They also plan to secure a stadium within the town within the next year.
