Luton have added York midfielder Jonathan Smith to their ranks ahead of tomorrow's match at Edgar Street.
The 26 year old was a regular in Swindon's title winning side last season but was released in the summer and rejoined former club York, where he has started half their League games this season. Boss Paul Buckle says the player, who they tried to sign in the summer, will remain with the Hatters until January.
Buckle hopes to have midfielder Alex Lawless and keeper Mark Tyler back in contention tomorrow night after missing Saturday's FA Cup draw with Nuneaton, but loan defender Connor Essam has returned to Gillingham. Former Forest Green man Lawless and veteran stopper Tyler have both missed the last two weeks.
Buckle told the local press that Tuesday was a "huge game" for his side:
“We go there to win. I’m sure we’ll do the same. We don’t change our tactics, we play to win every game, so I’m sure if we play how we did today but score the goals this time we will do the business there.”
