In an attempt to raise some much needed funds for Hereford United, Carl 'Squin' Haffenden (@Squinny4) and Stefan Davies (@StefanDavies91 / @YourHereford1) of the YourHereford group have rounded up a group of about 16 fans and HUFC staff who have put themselves forward to have some hairs removed via waxing or shaving, with any sponsorship donations being passed on to the football club.
Current Bull Harry Pell has opted to go for a bald egg head shave, ex-Bull Gareth Davies is down to have his legs waxed and Bulls coach Dan Connor is having his chest hair waxed.
Hereford fans Karen Pardoe, and her son are having their heads shaved and Steve Wooley is having the dreaded back, sack and crack.
The event is to take place in Addisons Bar Skittle Alley at 6pm prior to kick off of the Luton Town game tommorow.
We have a few trained beauticians who will be applying the wax, but we are happy to have people chuck in a few pound for the privilege of pulling off a wax strip.
We know we have already raised around £700 just from pledges by people to a few of the 'volunteers' but we are hoping to raise more, which we will collect all together and pass on to Hereford United.
Meanwhile, organisers of the Sponsored Walk from Malvern to Hereford are mulling over their options after the Bulls were drawn away on their original December 1st date.
An announcement on plans will be made after next Monday's FA Trophy draw, which could see the Bulls play at home on November 24th. They currently have pledges of over £3,200 for the trip with a target of £5,000.
