We're Exploring Every Avenue says Keyte

David Keyte gave BBC Hereford and Worcester another update on the situation at Edgar Street earlier this morning.

"Shrewsbury, we've probably cleared £20K with the TV. We were looking for a bit more. There's £18K for winning the round," said the Hereford United chairman.

"We move onto Cheltenham, another local derby. We would have preferred to have been at home.

"We could take 600 or 700 and another good share of the gate.

"We've clearly know we've got to win some supporters back if they are ever going to come back.

"For those fans who got to the game on Saturday I'd like to think they went home with a smile on their face. They saw a good performance from a group of young lads that Martin Foyle has put together

"The crowd was disappointing.

"We've formed a view that for various reasons, some of them external, financial, we're going to have to cut back to expecting to see about 1600 a week.

"We'll have to explore every avenue at the moment.

"We've got various sections in the club that will have to be looked at from the community trust to the youth system to the first team.

"We've got to cut back to losing sufficent to make up for the 700, 800 people that don't turn up for home matches which is £6K or £7K per week probably."
