The lounge had retained many of it's original features since it's creation in 1972 and subsequent extensions. The lounge area has been virtually stripped with the infamous, and much unloved, wall panelling consigned to the skip.
It is hoped that the initial refurbishment is completed in time for the opening home friendly match, with further additional works due through the coming season.
