Tate Campbell has left Hereford after being offered a new deal by boss Paul Caddis.
He is now one of 14 players to leave Edgar Street this summer, though goalkeeper Theo Richardson has already returned.
Like winger Yusifu Ceesay, 22-year-old Campbell had yet to publicly say whether he would be accepting Caddis's offer - though the manager said last week that every signing from then on would be a new face.
After joining Hereford last summer from Birmingham City, hoping to find his love for football again, he made 45 appearances and scored six goals.
He said in a statement on Twitter/X: "I would like to say a huge thank you for my year at the club. I’ve learnt so much from my time at Edgar Street and have found my love for the game once again. A place with great people throughout.
"To Adam Rooney and Paul Caddis, a massive thank you and a lot of appreciation for them both. Really helped me understand the real game a lot more, and developed me as a player. Two that I know will be right up there in years to come.
"Finally, a huge thank you to the fans who have embraced me from the start. Stuck with me from start to finish and I have really felt the backing and appreciation from you all. Some great memories and made Edgar Street, somewhere I will always remember fondly.
"All the best for the future, TC❤️"
