Walsall striker Alex Nicholls, has thanked Richard O'Kelly for his work at the club.
"Richard O'Kelly came in and had a good rapport with the lads," explained Nicholls. "He helped implement some of the gaffer's thoughts and emphasised the importance of talking with each other on the pitch.
"The players have taken that on board and it's helping us to stay focussed. If you look at Tuesday's win, you can see that and I think that is what got us through the six minutes of added time.
"Maybe earlier on in the season that wouldn't have been the case but we've come a long way and Richard has played his part in that."
Meanwhile the Hereford United squad set off for Morecambe earlier today and this afternoon had a short training session at Stoke.
"Now that's what you call a training ground," said goalkeeping coach Russell Hoult.
