News Round-Up

Port Vale will get £50,000 up front from Barnsley when the deal to loan ex-Bull Lee Collins is completed today. The Administrator has warned that it may not be the last exit from their 23 man squad, with 20 of their players - including Collins - out of contract in the summer. Macclesfield have signed midfielder Matt Ball on loan from Norwich. The 18 year old is yet to debut for the Canaries' first team but has been a regular scorer in their reserves and youth.

Grimsby face Boston in court today as their year-long dispute over the events that saw managers Paul Hurst and Rob Scott switch to the Mariners. Boston are suing for compensation, claiming £25,000 for breach of contract. Wimbledon have told veteran defender Jamie Stuart he is unlikely to play again for the club. The 35 year old was transfer listed in January and has been targeted by a pair of unnamed League Two sides.

Accrington have signed striker Bobby Grant on loan from Scunthorpe for an initial month. The 21 year old was sold by Stanley to the Iron for £260,000 18 months ago but has so far failed to establish himself in their side.
