Oldham are offering their fans the chance to watch five forthcoming home games for just £3 each.
They have launched a 'Golden Ticket' with five home games in 28 days. Acknowledging the current financial climate, chairman Simon Corney told their official site:
"There is nothing worse for players and fans alike than staging games in a near-empty stadium. It must also be awful for the players when there is no atmosphere."
While they have averaged attendances of nearly 4,500 for the current season, their last home game with Walsall attracted just 2,583. Last February they offered £2 admission to one home match and attracted a gate of over 8,500.
