News Round-Up

Burton loanee Tom Parkes has returned to parent club Leicester for treatment after fracturing his ankle in last night's draw with Port Vale. He was subbed late into injury time after starting all three of the Brewers' League matches this season. Plymouth bid leader Kevin Heaney has confirmed that the funding is in place to complete the deal to buy the club. Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle says there is 'evidence of a funding line ... subject to due dilligence'.

Southend defender Bilel Moshni has been disciplined by the club over his dressing room bust up that saw him miss Saturday's match. Manager Paul Sturrock told the BBC 'anyone would feel that this is his last opportunity'. After being warned by the Football League over their record of having players needing treatment on the half hour mark, Stevenage boss Graham Westley has blasted Chesterfield counterpart John Sheridan for accusing them of feigning injury: "To accuse one of our players of feigning injury is a disgrace and he should be ashamed."

Swindon are on the verge of signing QPR striker Leon Clarke after the 26 year old watched the club's loss to Dagenham last night. The opening match of this season's FA Cup is to be streamed live on the sponsor's Facebook page. Budweiser will stream the tie, between Ascot United and Wembley FC, on Friday night but the Extra Preliminary Round game will only be viewable to those over 18.

Former Bulls midfielder Glen Southam has signed a one year deal at Dover. The former Dagenham man was released by Barnet earlier in the summer, and had a trial at Aldershot.
