Jamie Pitman thought that this afternoon's game at AFC Wimbledon was a 'great advert for League Two football'. And in a very confident interview the Hereford United manager also spoke highly of both the players and supporters at Kingsmeadow today.
"It was one of the best games of football I've seen for a long time," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"End to end, chances at either end, great defending, great attacking play.
"It was enjoyable to watch. A great advert for League Two football.
"The lads have shown they are more than capable of getting a performance especially with everything that happened during the game.
"There was a great following today. I've got to give them great credit. They've come out in good numbers today and given us a good cheer.
"I've got to thank them for that."
