Plymouth will be taken over by an offshore company, the Administrator has revealed. A Gibraltar-based company will act as a front to the Irish-based consortium, increasing fans concerns over whether the takeover will actually take place. The initial £100,000 deposit for the sale was late, with £200,000 due next week and £700,000 more by the end of the month. Bradford have named former Dagenham chief scout Archie Christie as their new chief scout. He will also manage an under-20 'development' squad at the club.

Port Vale winger Lewis Haldane has been given custom insoles for his boots after doctors discovered he had one leg shorter than the other. The 1cm difference is being blamed as the cause of a persistent ankle injury. New Torquay boss Martin Ling has expressed an interest in having Swindon coach Paul Bodin as his no.2 at Plainmoor. The pair played together for Swindon.
