Carl Boyeson from East Yorkshire is set to referee the League Two match between Rotherham and Hereford United at the Don Valley Stadium, pictured, on Saturday.
The Bulls haven't met Boyeson for two years. The last time was at Edgar Street on April 18th 2009 when Colchester were the visitors. The Bulls lost the game 2-0 and Steve Guinan was booked.
However that game is more likely to be remembered for the fact that the loss made League Two football definite for the following season.
Hereford United's relegation back to League Two was officially confirmed this afternoon following yet another disappointing defeat at the hands of Colchester United this time. The U's managed a 2-0 win at Edgar Street with Mark Yeates opening the scoring with a free-kick before minutes after Dean Beckwith scored an own goal. Just 2,100 were in attendance at Edgar Street to see The Bulls's one year stay in League One ended.
To date this season Boyeson has been in charge of 25 games in which he has given out 64 yellow and 4 red cards.
