The Bulls entertain Burton in a League Two match at Edgar Street on Saturday.
The two sides met at the Pirelli Stadium back in early September, with the Simon Davey inspired Bulls crashing to a 3-0 defeat to a Burton side containing former Bulls Lewis Young and Tony James. The Bulls are yet to claim a point from the Brewers in League action, losing all three of their matches since Paul Peschisolido's men won promotion. The last home win over the Brewers at Edgar Street saw a Tony James penalty secure victory, but last season James scored the winner for his current side at Edgar Street.
Half of the 18 man Bulls squad from that 3-0 loss will be unavailable for the Bulls for one reason or another. Two are injured, two out on loan, and five no longer play for the club. Back in September, the Bulls met the Brewers having not scored in the three previous games. Since the start of 2011 the Bulls have scored 17 times in eight League games, with the goals coming from nine different Bulls players and an own goal.
The Brewers find themselves at the wrong end of the table thanks partially to their fixture backlog, but their form has also been pretty poor recently. Away from home they have just one win all season, albeit an impressive one at Chesterfield, and have lost their last three on the road with just one goal scored. That goal came from the departed top scorer Shaun Harrad, while loan striker James Collins has also left leaving only Aaron Webster to have scored more than two League goals this season.
Hereford United vs Burton Albion, Edgar Street, Saturday 19th February, 3.00pm.
