Today's Hereford Journal carries a sad story about Chris Price, the former Hereford United defender.
It reports that Price was enjoying a day on a beach in Queenland when he was knocked down by a high wave. His daughter found him face down in the water. Luckily a lifeguard intervened.
Price was put on oxygen but went into cardiac arrest and stopped breathing. He was taken for resuscitation and intensive care once he eventually arrived at the hospital following traffic problems.
