Thank Goodness We've Broken That Home Duck - Pitman

Jamie Pitman was pleased to get his first home win this afternoon when the Bulls defeated Hythe own 5-1.

"Very comfortable win," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester after the game. "Thank goodness we've broken that home duck.

"Should have been ten, if not more than that if we had taken our chances.

"But their keeper made a few good saves, credit to them."

Hythe scored their goal in the 26th minute.

"Sloppy goal really. For five or ten minutes after we scored the second, we lacked a bit of concentration. Probably our own fault more than anything.

As usual in his post match interviews Pitman picked out a few players for a mention.

"Tyler (Weir) did very well, he's been trying to get in, it been a patient waiting game for him.

"Rosie did excellent second half and when Nick (Featherstone) came on he found a few passes and created a few chances for us and loked like he could play football.

"McQuilken's injury is a hamstring. That's disappointing because he has been excellent. But I've got an abunance of midfielders who are all capable of playing in there.

"I'm going to make the squad competitive. Everyone who trains and works hard will get their chance."
