Steve Cook from Surrey is expected to take charge of Tuesday evening's League Two match at Dean Court where Bournemouth will take on Hereford United.
The Bulls haven't met Cook since October 2007 when he refereed a Carling Cup game at Edgar Street. That evening Yeovil Town were the opponents and at full time the score was goal-less but the Bulls went out of the competition on penalties.
Bournemouth have had the pleasure of Cook this season. He officiated in their game against Rotherham last August when the Cherries won 1-0.
Cook has refereed 27 games this season so far. In those games he has given out 121 yellow and 9 red cards.
