Bookies Back the Bulls

Hereford United are around evens to win tomorrow's League Two match against Macclesfield according to SkyBet.

Hereford evens Draw 12/5 Macclesfield 11/4

However given the sad news from Macclesfield this week, their players will want to put on their best show as a tribute to Keith Alexander.

They will also have far greater support than they would normally have expected at this game.

It is thought at least 400 supporters will make the trip from Cheshire and elsewhere to watch the Silkmen.

"It will be a hard game," striker Matthew Tipton told the Macclesfield Express.

"The minute's silence before the match will be emotional - but we will all make sure we are pumped up for Keith and focused on the match. It's what he would have wanted.

"All season we have been working towards making sure we are safe and now we have got a bigger incentive to do it in Keith's memory.

"Some players will find it hard to play. We are all devastated, but we have had our first training session without the gaffer and that's one hurdle out of the way, then it's the first game without the gaffer but he will never be forgotten."
